Project Details: "AWAKEN THE DEAD", is a redemption tale. A rock and roll fable. And so much more. It's a zombie film with a story. Filled with troubled characters, haunting questions and unsettling answers. It's a darkly humorous tale of two social misfits forced together by a man who has controlled both of their lives. It's about Stanley, the innocent Jehovah's Witness thrust in their midst. It's about the secret of the red envelopes. It's about two souls dead to the world, forced to open up to each other in order to survive. It's also about zombies. Yes, zombies. Hence, the double meaning.
